I was born in 1979 in south of France. I spent my childwood in the scenery painted by Cezanne among pine trees and cicadas.
Drawing has always been my favorite way of expression. Although I chose to study chemistry and had very different professional experiences, I never stopped drawing.
When I moved to South Carolina, for the first time in my life I was able to paint and draw full time.
I make my paper which gives me a lot of freedom. I can add pieces of fabrics, yarn or plants and I love the process. it is magic to see the transformation of old books, flyers, notebooks in a unique creation.
I like to use local resources and experiment natural pigments from local plants or soils. I sometimes let little pieces of raw material appear in my work as a reminder of what it is made of.
